Your guide to Thumbish Studio

1. Sign in and open a channel

Sign in with the login options presented by the app. A channel groups creative conversations, a persona and thumbnail references. It does not connect to your YouTube account. Free supports one channel, Lite two and Mega five.

2. Choose Plan or Design

Use Design mode to develop a thumbnail concept and generate artwork. Use Plan mode on Lite or Mega when you want to work on the concept, title and hook first. You can switch modes in the composer.

3. Give the studio useful context

Describe the audience, the promise of the video and the subject the thumbnail should show. Attach a script through the plus menu. Supported script formats are PDF, DOCX, TXT and MD, with a 100 KB limit. Free, Lite and Mega support one script per message.

Image attachments must be no larger than 2 MB each. Free allows one image per message; Lite and Mega allow three. Provide clear reference images and explain what each reference is for. The channel can also store a persona and reference thumbnails.

4. Review and approve the concept

Check the proposed visual subject, composition and headline. Ask for changes if the direction does not match the video. Choose whether the artwork should include headline text. Approve only when you are ready to generate.

5. Generate, inspect and revise

Image generation runs after approval. Inspect the result for errors, especially text, faces and product details. Request changes in the conversation when needed. If a generation fails, use the available status or retry control rather than assuming a missing result means a new request is required.

6. Download and publish

Use the download action on the generated image. Thumbish requests artwork at 1280 by 720 pixels. Review the actual file in the free preview tool and follow the manual YouTube upload workflow.

Credits and limits

Different actions use different amounts of credits. A thumbnail generation uses 20, an image revision 10, a concept creation 10, a concept revision 5 and a chat reply 2. Read current pricing and use the credit calculator to estimate a planned workflow.

Practical troubleshooting

• If the brief is too long, summarize the central promise and attach the supporting script.
• If a scanned document has no extractable text, export it as a text-based file.
• If an upload exceeds the limit, reduce its file size before attaching.
• If the image misses the story, revise the concept before generating more variations.
• If exact text or product geometry is required, review it separately and use an editor or a real asset when needed.
